Yes. Through October 31, 2026 (11:59 PM Central), any paid plan bought on the web gets 20% off your first 12 months, applied automatically at checkout with no code needed. The discount isn't combined with other coupons: if you already have a code, enter it before checkout and it replaces the launch offer, and it won't apply if your account already carries one. Premium Connection packs added to a discounted plan get the same 20% for the remaining months. After 12 months your plan renews at the listed price. App Store and Google Play purchases aren't part of the offer.

We connect to your US or Canadian bank through regulated, bank-grade aggregation partners, the same category of infrastructure that powers apps like Venmo and Coinbase. Your bank credentials are never stored on our servers; they're encrypted end-to-end by the aggregator. Once connected, your accounts refresh automatically every day on every paid plan, and we pull fresh data as soon as your bank notifies us of new activity. There's no "hourly" or "real-time" tier upsell here: the honest answer is daily plus bank-triggered updates, the same on Starter, Pro, and Premium. Banking in the UK or Europe? Most banks and credit unions connect through our standard network and count against your standard bank connections. A smaller set of institutions sit outside that network, things like HSAs, 529 college-savings plans, and some workplace retirement plans, and those need a premium connection slot. They cost us more to maintain, so they're offered as a limited number of dedicated slots rather than lumped in with the rest. Pro includes 1 premium slot and Premium includes 3, and you can add more with Premium Connection packs, available on Starter and up. Premium slots are a separate pool from your standard connections, so using one never eats into your standard limit.

Yes, on a separate rail we call Bring your own connections, available from Starter up. You subscribe directly to Lunch Flow, an open banking service that reaches thousands of banks across the UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Brazil, and New Zealand, and we read your accounts from there. Because you're paying them for the connection rather than us, those accounts never count against your plan's connection limits, however many you link. What matters is where your bank is, so expats and anyone holding accounts in more than one country can run this rail alongside the standard one. Billing, receipts, and password resets for that subscription come from Lunch Flow, not from us.

As we grow, we also want to fold this coverage into the plans themselves, so UK and EU banks can simply be included rather than something you subscribe to separately. Paying for that coverage directly only makes sense at a certain scale, so we're not putting a date on it. Bringing your own subscription isn't going anywhere either: when plan-included coverage arrives, this rail stays for anyone who'd rather keep their own Lunch Flow account.

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you want. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades kick in at the end of your current billing period. If you downgrade, you keep access to your existing data; you just won't be able to add new connections or features beyond your new tier's limits.

All connections are encrypted in transit via TLS. Sensitive credentials like bank tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. Passkey sign-in is supported, so your main sign-in factor can't be phished or reused; password sign-in is available too, and accounts using a password are required to have multi-factor authentication. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't use it for anything other than showing you your own finances. Our business model is subscriptions, not surveillance.

Yes. Automatic bank sync covers US and Canadian banks on our standard rail. Banks in the UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Brazil, and New Zealand connect through the Bring your own connections rail described above. Anywhere we can't reach yet, you can track accounts manually or via CSV and JSON import, and multi-currency support converts balances with up-to-date exchange rates.

Pro includes one partner sharing slot: your partner gets their own login and can see shared accounts and budgets. Premium expands this to up to 5 users, you plus four family members. Your connections come in two separate pools, standard bank connections and premium connection slots, and you can lend unused slots from either pool to the people you share with. They connect their own banks into your spare capacity while your tier features and your data stay private, and each person controls exactly which accounts they share back. The two pools lend independently, so lending out a standard connection never touches your premium slots, and vice versa.
